This renovation was a special project for a client in Hamersley, Perth, who was preparing for the arrival of their new baby. The bathroom, part of a 1970s home, was tired and in need of a much-needed facelift to accommodate the growing needs of the family. The existing bathroom was relatively small, so we made the decision to remove a wall between the WC and the bathroom to increase the space. This allowed us to redesign the layout and create a more functional, family-friendly environment.
For the colour palette, we selected soft, earthy tones with a touch of sophistication. Brass tapware was chosen for its warmth and timeless appeal, which beautifully complements the stone beige tiles. The soft sage feature tiles were added to introduce a refreshing splash of colour while maintaining a calming, neutral tone. These design elements work together to create a harmonious space that is both stylish and functional, perfect for the growing family.
With the additional space, we were able to incorporate key elements that would make the bathroom both practical and stylish. We added mirror cabinets for extra storage, helping to declutter the space while maintaining a sleek, modern look. A large, luxurious shower was also introduced, offering both comfort and function for the family’s everyday use. This renovation not only improved the aesthetics but also created a more functional, adaptable space that will grow with the family over time.
In addition to the bathroom, we also renovated the laundry in this home, reflecting the same colour palette used in the bathroom. The cohesive design between the two spaces ensures a unified look throughout the home, creating a seamless flow that enhances the overall aesthetic and functionality.
