This Karrinyup bathroom renovation was long overdue, as the clients had just purchased the home and were eager to update the space. As the first room in a series of renovations planned for the home, the goal was to create a bathroom that offered both luxury and practicality from the start.
The use of warmer tones and full-height tiling gives the bathroom a luxurious, inviting feel, while brushed brass accents pop against the neutral tones, adding a touch of sophistication.
A key challenge of the project was the inclusion of a third toilet for the home, which was not originally part of the space. We strategically changed the size of the vanity to accommodate an in-wall cistern toilet, adding valuable functionality for the family. This design choice not only maximised space but also enhanced the overall utility of the bathroom, making it more suitable for the needs of the household.
The oak floating vanity and mirror cabinet offers ample storage while contributing to the sense of openness by freeing up additional floor space. A large oval freestanding bath makes a beautiful statement piece, creating a sense of luxury and relaxation. Above the bath, a cleverly designed niche adds both style and functionality, completing the bathroom’s elegant and functional design.
